1. Who we are
GOZO Technologies Pvt Ltd ("GOZO", "we", "us") operates the GOZO platform — a goat-farm management web and Android application. Our registered office is at 4th floor, Sahyadri Building, Baner, Pune — 411045, Maharashtra, India.
2. Information we collect
We collect (a) account data — name, phone number, email, farm name, location; (b) farm data — livestock records, health logs, breeding, financials, photos and IoT telemetry you choose to record; (c) usage data — device, app version, log events; and (d) optional payment data processed by Razorpay (we never store card numbers).
3. How we use your data
Strictly to provide the service: run your farm dashboard, send vaccine and breeding reminders, sync between devices, generate Academy certificates, and improve product reliability. We never sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
4. Where data is stored
All farm and account data is stored on encrypted servers in Mumbai (AWS ap-south-1). Daily encrypted backups are retained for 30 days. Media (photos) is stored on encrypted object storage with signed-URL access.
5. Sharing & sub-processors
We use a small set of trusted sub-processors to deliver the service — Razorpay (payments), MSG91/Twilio (SMS), WhatsApp Business API (messages), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push), Supabase (managed database), and Google Gemini (AI assistant queries). Each is bound by data-processing agreements.
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP) and GDPR (for export customers), you may access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Use Settings → Privacy → Export, or write to privacy@gozo.farm. We respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation so you can re-activate or export. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records under the Income Tax Act).
8. Security
We use TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, signed-URL media, row-level security on the database, and least-privilege role-based access for our team. We perform routine security reviews and disclose breaches within 72 hours as required by DPDP.
9. Children
GOZO is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.
11. Changes to this policy
We will notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before any material change. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
